Norit Announces Relocation of K Plant Facility
January 4, 2005 - Norit Americas Inc. announces the relocation of the chemically activated manufacturing facility from Marshall, Texas to Glasgow, Scotland. The steam activation facility is still located in Marshall, Texas.
The Marshall, Texas chemically activated carbon facility has been in existence since 1939. It has always produced the best quality products in the North American market place. Fortunately, the chemically activated carbon plant in Glasgow, Scotland produces the best quality products for the European market place. Through extensive efforts of our entire organization we are able to provide the highest quality and the most cost effective chemically activated carbons in the market. With the change of location, we are pleased to introduce two new products, DARCO KB-G and DARCO KB-WJ. Initial tests of these products from the Scotland plant have resulted in outstanding performance for our customers.
