NORIT CGSP Powdered Activated Carbon
NORIT CGSP is used in the purification of highly colored and /or foaming process liquids, such as starch hydrolysates and fruit juices, requiring a slightly acidic carbon. NORIT CGSP combines a superior adsorptive capacity with excellent filtration characteristics. It is especially effective in adsorbing high molecular weight organics such as large color bodies and proteins, at low carbon dosage rates. NORIT CGSP is produced by chemical activation using the phosphoric acid process.
