Position Overview :
Responsible for the identification, planning, designing, development of projects to improve the operational effectiveness and reduce operating cost for the Marshall, Texas plant. Evaluates current equipment/processes and makes recommendations for improvements. Review with the Maintenance Manager areas needing improvement and the overall strategic plans for the plant to determine priorities. Assist in the development and management of the capital budget for the plant. Develop detailed design and work packages including, writing specifications, procurement specifications, equipment list and complete drawing packages. The position requires a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial facility. The successful candidate will also have excellent computer skills.
