Position Overview :
Responsible for managing company expansion projects from inception to completion. Plans, coordinates, schedules, audits, reviews, and oversees the day to day activities associated with the assigned project. Works closely with venders, contractors, company department heads to ensure project is progressing on time and within budget. The Project Manager is responsible for the technical project execution including design changes, purchasing, subcontracting, expediting, construction support, and start-up. Maintains open communication with all parties concerning timely achievement of milestones and objectives and potential problems as they are identified. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering with at least 5 years experience in project management in an industrial facility. Must possess & apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices & procedures of engineering to the completion of difficult assignments. Competency with Auto CAD is a plus. Travel requirements are estimated at about 25%.
